Surgical needle holder range

MedKraft’s surgical needle holders help clinicians grasp and guide suture needles during oral surgery and wound closure. The collection ranges from ring-handled needle drivers for routine suturing to spring-handled designs for microsurgical work. Across the range, serrated jaws help limit needle rotation, and a locking mechanism maintains the selected grip.

Needle size & jaw selection

The Mayo-Hegar Needle Holder has broad, cross-serrated jaws for standard and heavier suture needles. For finer needles, the Crile-Wood offers tapered jaws with a longitudinal groove, while the compact Derf has short, straight jaws for close work with small needles.

The Olsen-Hegar Needle Holder with Scissors combines needle holding and suture trimming in one instrument, reducing instrument changes during closure.

Castroviejo needle holders & microsurgical access

MedKraft’s Castroviejo needle holders feature tungsten carbide jaw inserts for gripping fine suture needles. Slender spring handles support fingertip control during delicate suturing.

Short and long models are each available with straight or curved jaws. Short jaws provide a compact working end, while long jaws extend reach. Clinicians can choose straight jaws for a direct approach or curved jaws when the suturing site calls for angled access.
